Her character in The Last Jedi is easier to take when you realize that Rose is a bit of an idiot and that’s why the only job she can be trusted to do right is Space Janitor. She has flashes of brilliance, usually involving machines, but she’s otherwise a ditz who frequently doesn’t stop to think things through.
