    eh, I’ll give them that one, but they still lose points for inconsistancy, it’s tradition in Christian writings that when you refer to “God” that the pronoun is capitalized like you’re actually saying his name.

    As a matter of fact, I do. Not every Christian is a hooplehead from Chucklefuck, Alabama. There are factions of the Church that have a great and long tradition of intelligent scientific inquiry and academic whatchacallits. Why, to this day there are serious Jesuit dudes who could kick your ass in terms of scientific knowledge, philosophical understanding, or in debate on pretty much any topic you care to mention.
