Why do I call them bad dog owners? Look, I don’t know their special circumstances, but if they have to have FIVE signs saying that their giant unleashed dogs are behind an invisible fence, maybe you should just follow city law and keep them behind a real fence or on a leash.
I have people in my city all the time that are out with their unleashed animals, it’s insane that they trust their dogs that much to not run into streets or kill the first kid they see.
For some dogs invisible fences work just fine. My dogs never went beyond the fence.
I’m sure you thought so, but that’s not a world that I live in.
I’m on a big property…and the invisible fence is a good 3 or 4 yards in from the road.
I guess it depends on where people put it…
what I’m saying that “invisible fences” are worthless and do not do the job of a real fence. they’re nice for when the power is on, your dog is small and well trained, and everyone around your property knows that you have an invisible fence.
Yeah….it does take a decently trained dog….that’s the point.
But once the dog gets it, it doesn’t matter if the power goes out for a few days. The dog learns where he can and can’t go and doesn’t go near where the wire is.
But like I said, not for every dog…
it’s for no dog! if it’s invisible it’s not real
