WaPo: Trump ignored briefing materials that said not to congratulate Putin

US President Donald Trump congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his re-election despite the warnings from multiple national security advisers and briefing materials that said “DO NOT CONGRATULATE,” The Washington Post reported Tuesday evening.

    He’s also mad that someone ‘leaked’ info about the warning.

    He wants to frame the issue around the fact that a leak happened AT ALL, to distract from what the info that got leaked actually IS.
