When his girlfriend vanishes, a mute man ventures into a near-future Berlin’s seamy underworld, where his actions speak louder than words.

Made by the same guy that directed the absolutely fantastic Moon, the trailers for Mute feel like this series could take place in the same universe as Altered Carbon or some of the far future episodes of Black Mirror, but the time period and setting of the film are just the window dressing for a pretty simple story about a missing girl and the guy that loves her. It’s a simple story, but it plays out very well and I really enjoyed the journey.

Also, Paul Rudd is in this, no one seems to know that, but there he is, one of the main characters.
