Cops demand better gear than the damn Army for situations that are objectively less dangerous, despite inferior training.

I mean, Army dudes have a list of actions they take when facing a car that won’t stop. Multiple signals, warning shots, disable the vehicle, and only THEN do they get to shoot any occupants. Cops immediately resort to ventilating the driver, even if it’s the wrong damn car.
