As a child, Tommy Jarvis did what many others died trying to do. He killed Jason Vorhees, the mass murderer who terrorized the residents of Crystal Lake. But now, years later, Tommy is tormented by the fear that maybe Jason isn’t really dead.

Also, I think this is the first film that I noticed they producers have something against VW cars, seems like anyone driving one of those around his hunting ground has written their own death warrants. I think this is also a first for two other things: there’s actually kids at the summer camp, and someone actually says the phrase “Friday The 13th”.

I’m happy to see that Jason is finally officially super natural. There were hints of it in the other movies (well the ones the he was actually in), but this one straight out says that he’s not of this world.
