GRAV is a sand box experience where you explore a multitude of planets, hunt strange alien creatures, build and defend outposts, craft weapons and armor, and attempt to survive against other players in a hostile environment.

GRAV shares a name and is losing the SEO battle to a company of the same name that provides smoking devices for smoking enthusiasts. I believe the game is still in early access, and still has a fair bit of work to be done on it. I tried it out because it came in one of those stupid Humble Monthly bundles, and because I really liked Ark when it was working correctly. Unfortuantely, Grav is still reeeally early access and it has some significant issues with performance and frame rates. I was routinely getting 5-10 fps. Couple that with unclear control mechanics and an options screen that does the opposite of what I assumed it would, this is on my “hard pass for now” list. Maybe when it’s made an official release, I’ll check back in on it, but for now, no thanks.
