Unjustifiably maligned by SJWs and bandwagoning blowhards, I found this retelling of the classic Ghost In The Shell movie to be a visually interesting piece of art that was able to hold my attention and give me a good plot. I remember a good bit of the complaints from the complainers was that Scarlett Johansson was not asian, but even at the time I had doubts that the character named “Major” was Asian herself. There’s a good subtle reference to this in the film, though you likely wouldn’t hear much from the people that were outraged that a full body cyborg was somehow of the wrong racial background.
I suggest you check this one out, it was a pretty solid movie that I really feel is on par with the original film. It’s a slightly different story, but that’s due to sourcing story elements from the comics, the movies and the television series.
