    They’ve been building up to this by turning The Master into Missy. I for one welcome a female Doctor. I’m not acquainted with Jodie’s work but look forward to seeing what she does with the role.

    man I was so confused in that last episode, I thought they revealed that Missy was not in fact The Master?

    I think they were both on different time lines, until one incarnation met the other one. We’ve already had Doctors meeting other regenerations of themselves so it’s quite possible.

    damn you’re right, I was confusing other time travel shows that mandated meeting yourself in another timeline would end poorly.

    she can definitely act, she was in Attack the Block and did a great job in it. The writing though, it’s going to be a new team, so who knows.
