I couldn’t remember if I had watched/reviewed this one in the recent past and was far too lazy to pick up my phone and search my own site. Turns out I did log it, but without much of a review, so here it is. This bond movie is paradoxically the best of Sean Connery’s films, but also one of the most alarming with a whole bunch of bad science (painted people survive just fine) and rapey scenes where Bond doesn’t take no for an answer.
I can appreciate it for what it is, a movie from another time when that sort of behavior wasn’t just acceptable it was expected.
