In this mysterious sci-fi film, a young couple wake up one morning to discover every person on Earth has disappeared. The two must struggle to survive while unravelling what forces are at work.

I’m a huge fan of these types of science fiction stories where the whole of humanity disappears with the exception of a few characters, ala The Quiet Earth or Night of The Comet. Bokeh is much more of an emotional story with the backdrop of an impossible to explain situation without any attempts to explain what happened. It was great to see Maika Monroe, she killed it in It Follows and was present in Independence Day: Resurgence. There were no special effects or science to really speak of, but it was great to see another take on this trope.
