I’m not sure I was ready for how emotionally charged this game ended up being, even without dialogue or any true storyline. This is a great new IP that I hope we see more of, but I’d appreciate if they left the heartbreaking background stuff out of the next game they make.
As for the physics based puzzles, there were a few that led to Yarnie’s repeated death while I tried to figure out exactly what to do next. Usually it was because I didn’t (or couldn’t) see an attachment point and once I figured out where to shoot my yarn, I got to where I needed to go.
This was fun, and it’s current price point of around $10 is a steal. I think I even saw it for $5 during a deep discount sale at one point. It’s a shorter game, but these types of puzzle games don’t have to be very long to be satisfying.
