Six-time Academy Award nominee Glenn Close stars in a post-apocalyptic story about a devastating disease that eradicates free will and turns its victims into flesh-eating “hungries.”

Despite what Amazon’s blurb says, Glenn Close isn’t the star of this movie, though she does play a pretty big role in the story. There’s a book by the same name, which I read a few months ago and enjoyed. The movie changes a few minor plot points for obvious reasons (no inner monologue, time, etc), but the changes are for the better. It’s a good post apocalyptic story that really deserves to be more fully fleshed out, but I was entertained.
