I’m interested in reading more about “India’s Kissing Crisis” but I’m not able to find any reference to this crisis on the internet.
It was about an Indian Parliamentary committee on censorship where a government minister was forced to resign after uttering this outrageous line:
“If, in telling the story it is logical, relevant or necessary to depict a passionate kiss or a nude human figure, there should be no question of excluding the shot.”
