Veronica, a teenage girl who’s new to town is lured out into the woods by a group of senior boys who hunt and kill girls for sport. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training.

There’s entirely way too many moving parts in the first act. I have many questions, like:

1. Why do we meet the girl when she’s 8 and not 18?
2. Why is there a random love story thrown in at the end of act 1?
3. Why do the guys want to kill blonde girls in the forest?
4. How did no one care that TWENTY WOMEN IN THEIR SMALL TOWN WERE DEAD.
5. Why did they introduce a RANGER CHOKE HOLD if the girl wasn’t going to use it at every opportunity?
6. How did the girl get the final guy up in the noose? was she holding him the entire time he was unconscious? and let him go when he woke up?

Oh god. I have like 30 more questions. This was a fun movie to watch, but you really have to turn off your brain.

Abigail Breslin is pretty cute and they really ramp up the blue in her eyes in nearly every scene, which was very captivating.
