    this is what happens when everyone had a car and no one has mass transit.

    I have to sit through this traffic every day. Long Beach to Santa Monica. It is 30 miles (1.5 to 2 Hours) each was. Not fun. There are a lot of issues here regarding commuting. LA is super spread out making mass transit a difficult proposition.

    first how is that gridlocked when you can clearly see traffic moving? second the jam between Lyon to Paris in 1980 was 109 miles long and even the chinese national highway 110 jam was longer in length and duration.
