Wow.
Michelle Obama is no longer a practising lawyer because she voluntarily made her law license inactive.
Anyone with a law degree who decides they no longer wish to practise law can do this…so they don’t have to pay unneccessary licensing fees or meet the ongoing hours of education and hours of practise requirements.

This is not anything like being Disbarred.
To be clear, there has never been any disciplinary action threatened or taken against Michelle Obama.

Litterally tens of thousands of people in dozens of professions that require state licenses do this every year.

So…facts.
