After seeing Independence Day Resurgence, I thought I’d go back and read the novelization of the first movie. I shouldn’t have, it unfortunately was just a quick script to book novelization that offered little more story than the original movie did. I’m trying to read it’s sequel right now, but it’s a difficult read due to being a prequel and not much of anything happens in it.
