I’ve been subscribed to the monthly Humble Bundle for a few months now and I’ve been intending to do some reviews of the games, but have had difficulty finding the time. In a sad twist this month’s bundle is pretty easy to review without even installing any of the games:
July’s Games:
- Hurtworld (survival)
- Kentucky Route Zero (horror survival)
- Satellite Reign (“real-time, class-based strategy game, set in an open-world cyberpunk city” looks a lot like X-Com in all the wrong ways)
- TIS-100 (by the guys that did spacechem, no thanks)
- The Red Solstice (looks interesting!)
- Avernum 2: Crystal Souls (“indie fantasy role-playing adventure” that looks very uninteresting)
- Cthulhu Realms (ccg, no thanks)
- Copoka (humble download only, meh)
The only one that interests me even slightly is The Red Solstice, and that’s just because I have a passing interest about Mars.
Have you played any of these? Do you have thoughts on them?
