Same Day As Theaters. A mind-bending sci-fi thriller in the tradition of Dark City and Blade Runner, about a brilliant physicist who has uncovered the secret of time travel, and a ruthless corporation that will stop at nothing to steal it.
I hate time travel movies. I really do, and this is one of them, but there’s more here than just a silly time travel movie. After the first 20 minutes it’ll be easy to dismiss it as Blade Runner with a time travel angle, but if you see it through you’ll find a nearly perfectly scored and framed film that was a pleasure to watch. There’s too many spotlights and helicoptors in the background, but I can over look that with how well everything else turned out. It helps that michael ironside played one of the leads, man that guy is awesome.
Now I need to find the soundtrack and see how it holds up on it’s own.
Michael Ironside = Legend. He totally deserves that ‘and’ next to his name, elevating his position. He might not be the lead but he’s an ‘and’.
He’s been such a damn workhorse, I’m sure he’s starred in something by now hasn’t he?
