    I looked this up. It hasn’t been published yet. I also looked up the author and was none too impressed, but then that’s par for the course with us, isn’t it Rick? You Mulder. Me Scully. I am however, absolutely crazy about Neanderthals!

    Except that the neanderthals were small in stature, not hairy giants, so I don’t think they’re the most likely suspect.

    I think the sasquatch is more likely a descendant (or a parallel evolution) of this guy:

    I guess that depends on the day.
    I’ve seen some compelling arguments on the anatomy of the few photos…and the Patterson film….and the footprint evidence that make me think it can’t just be a gorilla suit or a pair of bigfoot boots.
    But the lack of physical evidence, and the estimates of population required for a large primate to thrive…and go largely undetected…make me very skeptical.

    Let’s just say I think they MIGHT exist.
    But that I really want them to exist.
