    It’s about bloody time the Japanese re-claimed their monster! He even looks more like the original version, although why he appears to be partially composed of molten lava is a mystery. What’s brought him back this time?

    I’m not sure what’s the reason for the ‘Resurgence’. Details on the plot have been hard to find.

    Godzilla’s scarring in this film also reminded me of pictures I’ve seen of victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

    bleh. I get that they’re going back to their roots, but the character design seems dumb

    not even a little bit, Godzilla was one of the old time monsters that never had a good design. It was only until this last US version that I was able to suspend my disbelief for more than 30 seconds.
