Melissa McCarthy is turning out to be the female Kevin James. Endearing, but fat. Capable, but fat. Funny, but fat. They have their fatness pointed out nearly every other scene, and I swear to god, I think McCarthy was wearing a fat suit for a couple of her computer screen scenes. I would have enjoyed this much more if the fatness of the lead character wasn’t one of the main plot points, and if they had decided if she was actually confident and capable or was actually a bumbling and fat idiot.
Also, Jude Law’s receding hairline was incredibly distracting every time he was on screen. He’s playing the sexy quasi 007 character and he couldn’t get a decent haircut for the movie?
