I was glad to hear there was a short disclaimer at the beginning of the movie, but I still don’t think The History Channel should be showing this kind of stuff. This belong on the SyFy Channel as part of a double feature with Sharknado.
I got a good laugh from the commercial and thought you might too.
On the other hand, the programme makers can’t be held responsible for their audience’s credulity (and, let’s face it, stupidity). It was obviously made in a spirit of fun. I still think your interest in Bigfoot is hugely endearing.
If you had to force me to answer jediadept (not that you are), I’d go with the former, as I think I already stated. The show was clearly made as a piece of entertainment more than a serious documentary and even had a brief disclaimer at the beginning. Personally I don’t entertain the possibility of cryptid hominids existing, but that’s just my personal opinion and I could be proved wrong in the future.
All good science can be perverted by charlatans and hucksters.
One day….when they deem us deserving….these gentle giants will venture from their sylvan sanctuaries and grace us with their wisdom and the understanding that we have a place in the natural world….not dominion over it.
But as that day is not here yet….let’s go hunt us sum sasquatch!

Oh dear….They’ve got a point y’know. This is The History Channel, not the Fake Documentary Channel.
I agree with Vorel’s article.

Are you saying that you think that people who believe this program are exhibiting stupidity.
