    So true. I remember one girl who’s friends went all “mean girls” on her in HS when she refused to become a basic bitch with them, and continued to be treat everyone with class and dignity.
    Did she ever pay a hefty price for it.

    I ran into her a few years later in an airport lounge in Sao Paulo, and had a good laugh. It wasn’t a place either of us should be in our early twenties. But apparently my brains got me places, and she was a Ford model on her way to NY for another shoot.

    That was about 20 years ago… but you always remember the days when you’re vindicated.
