    This, if it were true, would be 31 flavors of shady. First of all, who has sufficient stock of AKs to do this? Second, if you’re doing this without a criminal background check, you may have armed a violent ex-con. Third, if you’re doing this on the up-and-up (with bg check and all), you just tacked on an extra process to an already long process.

    If its true its just a semi-automatic rifle likes tens of millions already in circulation. I understand it is super scary because it cab take a bayonet, accept a thirty round magazine and has been shown to have amazingly destructive capabilities in movies, like blowing up cars and shooting hundreds of rounds without reloading but it is still just a semi-automatic rifle.
