When Lee casually introduces himself in Terence Fisher’s Dracula (1958), he walked straight into film history, became an icon, and stayed there for next 57 years. It may not be the film he wanted to be remembered for, but his extraordinary presence in it, burnt itself the celluloid and our collective unconscious. He will be greatly missed.
