At first I was afraid,
I was petrified,
That Damon Lindelof might be right back standing by his side,
But then I checked the IMDB,
and I read with mounting glee,
It wasn’t true,
They’d had the sense to get in someone new!
(And base it on a novel)
Ok. I’ll stop the Robinson Crusoe On Mars piss-takes. The book ‘The Martian’ sounded too intriguing to ignore so I’ve just reserved a library copy. I take it the title references dialogue spoken in The Martian Chronicles, to whit, the human population on Mars are now Martians.
I’ve only just started reading the book, but by the looks of this they’ve ‘opened it up’ to include a rescue mission, whereas the book is (so far)’closed’. It’s a first person narrative in the form of journals. Might have been interesting to keep the original format but not a good commercial move.

But what’s THIS? –
Thanks trailer! We just saw the whole movie in 4 minutes, but props for giving Mona The Woolly Monkey her own credit.

I mean ‘to WIT’! Move along. Nothing to see here. Just a stray ‘h’ floating about where it shouldn’t be.
