I don’t include Tina Turner’s song in this because I also have a strange fondness for that too, even with the eighties ‘sex sax’ on it) The most awesome thing is the fact that BT features Angelo Rossitto, one of the few remaining members of the cast of Tod Browning’s Freaks to be alive and kicking. Well, not kicking. He ran a news-stand for decades and violence to patrons’ shins wouldn’t have gone down well. Rossitto was chums with the infamous Lionel Barrymore, and I bet he held Miller spellbound between takes with his tales of Hollywood madness and debauchery.
