Lake Meade is running out of water. It loses ten feet of water every year. Soon, Hoover Dam will be incapable of producing power. That’s going to be a big problem for Las Vegas, since they get all of their power from Hoover Dam.
Nevada’s deserts might grow vast photovoltaic farms. Perhaps enough to split H2O for night hydrogen use. If only they had some energy dependent industry worth that investment.
