This was filmed in 1971 in Hamilton Ontario (not far from Toronto).

A Canadian comedian named Billy Van wrote this very stupid silly kids show for a local station.
He sent a script to Mr. Price’s agent, thinking not only that he couldn’t afford Mr. Price, but that the man wouldn’t even read his script.
Price read the script, called him back, told him he loved it, offered to come to Hamilton for a week to film his bits….for a fraction of his usual fee.
Not only that, the story is that he bought pizza and beer for the crew every night.

I grew up watching this show.
