    There was absolutely no need to remake this film. And what other actor could step into Peter Weller’s huge, hydraulic shoes? Answer? No-one. I always thought he had the perfect face for this role because of the contrast of his rather sensual lips against the cyborg exoskeleton.

    I don’t disagree, but after having seen the remake, I gotta say that it wasn’t bad.

    agreed, the remake was sad to watch too, not just because of the terrible version of the story, but mainly the lack of Weller.
