Can’t believe the total lack of marketing on this one. It may only be out for 360 and PS3 (and soon Windows), but it’s probably the best Assassin’s Creed yet. Totally polished (unlike Unity) with the best parts of Black Flag and AC III combined. You get to play as a Templar who are the “good guys” in this one.
Meanwhile Unity is getting all the attention and it’s an unfinished piece of shit. UbiSoft should have held back Unity and just released Rogue this year on all platforms.
Have it sitting here, but I made the mistake of starting Unity first. Still have to finish that, but I want to finish Dragon Age first. Can I ask, what’s the ship combat like in Rogue? Pretty much the same as Black Flag? And most importantly, are there shanties? 🙂
Ship Combat is the same (with a few additions). This time around you’re allied with the British but all other ships are fair game as this is during the 7 Years War.
Shanties are back, with a whole bunch of new ones. Not my thing, but you can easily mute them.
🙂 Cheers. I’ll have to get on to it after Christmas.
I haven’t played because I couldn’t get past hashshashin as good guys, Templars evil. I’ll have a look.
