    How can she have an Oedipus complex if she’s a woman?! I think what you’re grasping for is an Electra complex. 😉

    You’re kinda right but a quick Google said it was “either sex”.
    “The term Oedipus complex denotes the emotions and ideas that the mind keeps in the unconscious, via dynamic repression, that concentrates upon a child’s desire to have sexual relations with the parent of the opposite sex.”
