Even being brazilian, my only fear for now is that brazilian people turns it in to a crap, full of viruses and traps that ends in a bullshit place, like what they do with Orkut.

“Everything is possible, but I very much doubt it. FB is “so 00’s”, that it must constantly acquire new stuff, and integrate into itself to be “cool”.
Google on the other hand, doesn’t need do do squat – people still use e-mails, people still uses search engines, etc.
agree but, I have seen a lot of people having troubles about privacy in both of them and, in the other hand, I see a lot of services being started with this concern in mind. So, I can see a future where we’ll have to make a choice about have and uses tools that had a lot of information but, want to know everything you do or uses new tools that saves your privacies but have a lack of information sources.
I think ggl can buy fb and any other services that try to ” compete ” with him just to consolidate this monopoly of information the they are building for so long time now. With that in mind, I still uses ggl email, drive, docs and all other tools but, just for safety or, just for peace of mind, I’m looking and using other alternative services to. I don’t know, maybe i’m more crazy than I think but, ggl could be a real SkyNet so, I don’t want to be using only him.
