First one was blown up by “dust cropping farm boy”, because Imperial engineers got they degree in mail order college. Second by some midget Wookies, because they didn’t learn anything…
While I do agree, there are two points I’d like to raise.
1) The “dust cropping farm boy” did have the ability to use the Force, and would go on to become a Jedi Master in fairly quick time and with fairly little help from other Jedi. I’d have to wager this is not something covered in Imperial Engineering 101.
2) The midget Wookies only helped defeat the garrison surrounding the shield generator. The Rebels still had to place explosives in the bunker and fly into the unfinished superstructure to destroy Death Star II. I’d have to lay the blame for all that squarely at Palpatine’s door as it was all part of his plan to lure the Rebels in. If he had strengthened the garrison and allowed the fleet to engage sooner things would have been much different.
Lando, please.
1. Force only helped Luke to target those torpedoes, into that fucking hole leading directly into DS reactor, not magically ‘splode the whole Death Star. So no hole, no Death Star explosion, Force, or not.
And compared to even to his multi-amputee father, his Force “level”, at least at that point, was laughable.
2. Midget Wookies helped Rebels to:
– find the back door,
– remove majority of its guards,
– rescue Rebels when their plan backfired, by killing a lot of Stormtroopers with rocks, or bows and arrows (shoulda stayed with the clone ones).
So basically they _did_ blow up the DS 2.0.
And we got another Death Star, with another unprotected reactor just “sitting” there waiting to be buttfucked. No encasing it in Cortosis, Beskar. No independent force field, or laser batteries protecting it from ending like its fucking predecessor.
Palpatine fucked up like majority of “Evil Overlords”, but if engineers did their jobs, both Death Stars would be “alive and kicking”.
Am I the only one that thinks the “rebels” are the bad guys and the Empire are the good guys? They never really sold what was so bad about the Empire. Just “but muh dark side!”. Pfft.

Don’t be silly.
Darth Vader wears black.
The Empire are wearing Nazi uniforms.
They even called the troups “Stormtroupers”.
Clearly they are evil.
Good guys would never dress like that.
