Well, you’re entitled to your opinion, and while no means original in it’s concept, (Alan Moore’s The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen and around the same time, John Sayles’ unproduced screenplay, Cast Of Characters)I loved it.
I thought so. It’s deeply unoriginal but extremely well done. It also contains what I believe is the first accurate on screen visual representation of The Creature from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, although I’d have made him taller than Rory Kinnear and also slightly scarier looking. Sure, he looks a bit odd, but not enough to warrant being attacked on the streets of Victorian London for being a ‘freak’. You have to look like the Elephant Man for that to happen.
Watched the first two episodes last night.
Yeah….it seemed pretty good.
I really hope they have some plan as to where they’re going with this…(unlike Lost….which was just a mess of cool ideas with no plan how to really tie them together or wrap them up).
Too bad about Proteus though….I kinda liked him.
2bad it sux

Correction – That should be LARRY COHEN’S Cast Of Characters.
I saw the trailer for this a few months ago and meant to check it out….
So it was good then….?

I really always thought that The Creatures wasn’t persecuted because of his looks but because of what he represented. Also, a touch of mob mentality.
but then again, I’ve never read the original books, so there’s that.
I was absolutely torn up by what happened to Mr Proteus! (See what I did there?) “I shall have ten friends…More.”
