    what censorship are you talking about? everything gets posted in some form or another.

    If you make a comment that contradicts someone’s world view, they’ll reboot their router over and over again to get different IP addresses to vote down and hide comments. I try to discourage them by tiring them out by just reposting the comment after they’ve wasted hours of their life trying to censor everything they can’t challenge.

    Best thing you could do is to take away voting on individual comments, or remove just the downvote option. There’s a reason places like Facebook and Twitter only have a “Like” or “Favorite” option.

    comment ratings are tracked by user name. what I really need is to bite the bullet and start deleting accounts that have no submissions or comments.
