Her action was provocative, unjustified, and deserves some punitive response, but not by his excessive act. Mistreatment or endangerment of females should never be tolerated. If it were two guys, a blind-side kick and running away deserves having the victim standing up for himself and retaliating against unwarranted abuse. But female equality does not extend that far. For the same reason, the US military should reverse its stand allowing women to fight on the front lines.
