Had a word with someone in the know about doing mo-cap on location. There might be some technical difficulties but basically as long as you can see the dots, you’re ok. It’s already been done in small doses on LOTR. The main problem I have with the film’s premise is that if you released a bunch of apes who’d lived most or all of their lives in captivity, they wouldn’t have a clue how to survive. It’s not like they all have a race memory of living in the wild. But hey, I’m willing to suspend my disbelief. Anyway, they’ve got a get out clause with the intelligence boosting drug. BRING IT ON.
