    As I recall, this was from a “What If…?” issue from the late 70s/early 80s; as in “What if… Thor had been a Woman?”

    Speaking of, looks like there’s a chance ComiXology might finally start selling the original What If run; got a copy last night: www.comixology.com/What-If-1977-1984/comics-series/14612

    Thus far, only one issue (#4, “What If The Avengers had stayed together after WWII”) has been released.

    One slight correction, Comixology doesn’t actually sell you anything, you buy a license to read the comics, they or the comic companies can revoke that license anytime they choose. best to stay away from them and go with someone like TPB or ImageComics.

    “What If” ran hot & cold for me. Some truly sucked; others were some of the most entertaining comics I ever read.

    As for the pic, I don’t know if you’re suggesting that it’s just a female Thor*, ’cause there really IS a Valkyrie character.
