After adjusting for known variables (solar cycles, volcanic activity, el nino/la nina), then the last 15 years of real-time temperature data shows that the average worldwide temperature has been increasing at almost exactly the same rate that it was during the previous 30 years.
Most of the people posting on this site probably aren’t even old enough to have experienced a year that isn’t above the hundred-year average.
Wow….a couple of outliers is all it takes to send you back to your psychologically safe assumption that we aren’t doing irreparable damages to the earth.

Its not about a couple of outliers. Its 15 YEARS of actual data that is 50% cooler than the climate models predicted. The models are broken, and the science is based entirely on those broken models.
I don’t how you could be so stupid to ignore 15 years of data that counters your fantasy data.

I really don’t know shit about this subject, but it seems like the majority of qualified people in this field falls on the side of global warming occuring.
I think we all can agree, though, that local temperature is not representative of global temperature.

Wrong again. The AGW movement is a front for socialism – restribution of wealth by placing limits on energy consumption and GDP. We even have leaders of the IPPC on record admitting this:
“one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy”

For the last 18 years people have been claiming that the temperature has been going down. Yet somehow in the middle of that we had the hottest decade on record.
