    You could beat your kids back then cause you needed them to work the fields the next day and beaten kids work slow. So for purposes of discipline, fear was a better tool than the rod.

    Also I love how there was a eps of The League that dealt with Krampus.

    Anyone read the book “Krampus: the Yule Lord”, by Brom….?
    Pretty cool Horror/Norse Myth/Christmas/Organized Crime mash-up.
    The audiobook version narrated by Kirby Heyborne is great.
