i find it odd that there’s this “Less than 24 hour of posts in the queue” post, and yet there’s still at least two submissions that i made which haven’t been approved yet…
Just 2? I submitted 19 yesterday, and they’re still pending approval. My guess is that there’s been a rush of submissions sparked by ponyphobia (mannuphobia? equuphobia?)

yeah, two that weren’t approved yet… and i still have one submission that isn’t approved, and hasn’t even shown up on my list of submissions… it’s “Jack Acid” and it shows up as approved when i go to “Posts”, but it doesn’t show up on my list of submissions, and it doesn’t show up in my list of approved submissions, despite the fact that i submitted it between the two that do show up…
it was approved the day it was submitted, scheduled to go to the front page on July 4th.
What I’m guessing is that it’s not showing these facts very clearly?
Did you submit the Jack Acid one through the main submission engine or through the WordPress post editor?
i’m not sure, but it has around 16 separate graphics, so it may have been through the post editor…
that sounds about right, anything through the post editor won’t show up in the backend’s “pending posts” list, which is rediculous, but they’re two different systems.
What I really need to do is make the author page more informative, with a list of pending images and a list of scheduled images.
