Australia moved all of it volcanoes to New Zealand and in exchange New Zealand move almost every poisonous animal we had to Australia.

Even though we have plenty of poisonous creatures, they generally don’t bother people that leave them alone (don’t step on one or try and catch it and you should be fine). In contrast, the largest land predator we have is the dingo, which aren’t known for too many attacks and crocodiles in some rivers. In general, I feel pretty safe out in the bush (woodlands?) with the greatest danger being dehydration and the odd fire.
