No obvious problems with this particular Superman film, there was a jarring Krypton -> Earth cut, but I’m happy to say there were no complete fuck ups here. There wasn’t anything after the credits though, which says to me that WB is still on the fence about this whole “Superman franchise” idea.
Something that I DID appreciate though was that Lois Lane was much more of a real character in this film, and actually showed some investigative journalism chops. Shame they made her a red head though, I’ve always preferred my Lois Lanes to be brunettes. . .
I’m going in about an hour. I keep hearing there is a scene after the credits. Guess I’ll find out.

Actually, a sequel was approved by WB a few days before the movie even opened.
that was based off of the partnerships they had for the movie release, which was a smart move for them, but if the movie doesn’t land properly those sequels will be it, and they’ll forget about the JLA movie that’s been rumored for years.
