    This looks staged. Does it not look like he’s jumping into that flip and then breaks his fall with both his arms and then into a roll?

    Seems that the ball is full with something solid :),old and painfull prank.

    That would be the prank, but normally when you kick something that is solid the momentum would carry the rest of your body forward and you’d land face first in the ground. when he “kicks” the ball he suddenly does a reversal and his legs flip backwards in the opposite direction.
