His perspective’s a little fucked (check out the window below the brown leaves on the left.) His work is generally regarded as amateurish, if not completely incompetent.
His real artistic genius was his design sensibility, in co-opting & reinventing the swastika & other pagan/occult symbology into his political propaganda machine.
But maybe art collecters would stand around his pictures like “Oh, and this is an early Hitler. It’s from his green period in the late 20’s, but you can still see the influence his homeless life in Vienna had on his art.”

Well yea, when I heard he painted “houses” I thought you know … house painter/decorator as well, d’oh. Silly me.

if he’d been able to get a job as a graphic designer, the world probably would not have experienced one of the world’s greatest butchers.
