The movie was fake.
There were no car chases.
And the Canadians were much more involved, and thought that the Americans were a little “Hollywood spy movie” bonkers with the whole fake movie plot…much lower profile ID’s would have worked better.
The real hero of the whole operation was the head of the Canadian Embassy, who thought the movie was a bit of a chuckle…
Whatever.
